Students in Broadcasting
Students in Broadcasting is a community driven initiative of Dallas Fort Worth AWRT Chapter.
What is our goal?
Our goal is to better prepare college students in the media world prior to graduation, giving them experience and knowledge out side of the classroom.
How does this work?
AWRT will sponsor a select group of college students interested in a future career in the Mass Communications arena. These students will be assigned to an AWRT member that will then act as a mentor to the student. The mentorship includes shadowing, networking, opportunity to attend industry functions, and social events that encompass the day and life in the world of media.
