Position Available:                      Marketing Manager

 

Overview:

 

Dallas-headquartered company targeting the African-American community, parent company of The Tom Joyner Morning Show & BlackAmericaWeb.com, is seeking a Marketing Manager for BlackAmericaWeb.com to work with the Tom Joyner Morning Show and REACH Media marketing department to craft, develop and execute marketing communications plans and vehicles to raise awareness of REACH Media programming and features among consumer audiences. The qualified candidate will work also with outside partners and advertisers to develop and deliver effective communications to our consumer audiences.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

The qualified candidate will work with cross-functional team to develop consumer-oriented communications including:

  • Creating website/email copy and actionable prompts to drive viewer response.
  • Preparing talking points and radio scripts regarding REACH Media features to be marketed through on-air programming.
  • Coordinating talking points, web assets and other assets for vendor/advertiser/sponsor programming and content.

 Requirements:

 

  • Solid experience proofing/editing and writing copy.
  • B.A./B.S. in Marketing, Communications or other relevant field or quantifiable job experience.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Proficiency in PC environment- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Familiarity with HTML, Photoshop a plus, but not required.

 Compensation:

 

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.
